RedDot Upgrades Web Content Management Software

27 Mar 2007

Publish By Patrick Hoffman - RedDot Solutions, the Open Text Web Solutions Group, announced March 21 that it has launched new versions of RedDot CMS 7.5 and RedDot LiveServer 3.5, which include features that enable enterprises to schedule tasks, enhanced search repository and new text editors.

RedDot CMS allows users to update and import their content, store graphics assets, meet industry and regulatory requirements regarding Web site access, and construct their Web site, intranet and extranet.

Using RedDot CMS 7.5, enterprise users are able to access important business documents over intranets, extranets and Web sites while also gaining a search system that allows them to look through the CMS (content management software) repository and find the pages for which they are looking.

"With RedDot CMS 7.5, business users can control how, when, where and to whom Web content should be delivered," Stefanie Lightman, vice president of marketing for the New York-based RedDot, told eWEEK.
